In April 2008 Director Paul, Company Secretary Sarah and our Electrician Barry ran the Flora London Marathon on behalf of The Rainbow Trust Children's Charity who carry out amazing support and care work for children with terminal and life threatening illnesses and their families.

It was a first attempt at a marathon for all 3 of them and spurred on by the amazing generosity of our friends, customers and suppliers finished and in the process raised a phenomenal £10,000

Sarah also went on and ran the marathon again for Rainbow in 2009 and raised over £1000 she also finished in under 4 hours in very warm conditions which was a fantastic achievement

UPDATE: In July 2010 Paul Deen will be competing in and raising money for Rainbow at the long distance "Ironman" triathlon in Frankfurt

It consists of a 2.4 mile swim a 112 mile bike ride and then the small matter of a 26.2 mile marathon!
